GuliKit KK3 MAX First Impressions

I just got my GuliKit KK3 MAX Controller early from Aliexpress and I’m so happy to finally have a controller with Hall Effect Joysticks and Triggers at the same time. Also, the first thing that caught my eye’s attention was the sleek design and the secondary spray-coated shell material, giving it a unique and comfortable skin-feel.

The 4 Metal Rear Paddles, detachable, swappable, and remappable, opened up a world of customization possibilities. Combined with the Hyperlink Adapter, 6 Metal Rear Paddles, and PC Button Kit, the controller catered to different play styles and preferences.

The tactile feedback was precise and immersive, enhancing every moment of gameplay. The Hall Effect Joysticks & Triggers lived up to their reputation, providing a level of responsiveness that’s really great.

The 1000Hz Wired & Wireless feature ensured super response times, making every command feel instantaneous. The Patented Smartrigger, allowing seamless switching between Analog Triggers & Digital Triggers, added a layer of versatility to my gaming sessions.

Support for Windows, Switch, Android, and iOS made it a versatile gaming controller for various game platforms. The inclusion of features like the switch wake-up function, NFC support for original amiibo reading, and the ability to map dpad buttons showcased the controller’s attention to detail.

Weighing in at 250g, the controller felt lightweight yet substantial, striking a balance that made it comfortable for extended gaming sessions. The raised dot design on the grip added an extra layer of ergonomic comfort.

I was particularly impressed by the in-house technology-produced Hall effect modules, they are better than in KingKong 2 Pro and JH16 modules made by K-Silver IMO.
