The Kailh x Keydous switches feel smooth and satisfying, perfect for long typing sessions. The pre-lubed stabilizers add to a premium feel. The magnetic switches also excel in gaming, allowing for fine-tuned speed and responsiveness that mechanical switches struggle to match.

The Learning Curve

Realizing the full potential of the NJ98-CP requires using the Keydous software. It’s functional but not as polished as some competitors. Be prepared to invest some time experimenting with settings. Additionally, the feet only offer one angle of adjustment, an oversight in an otherwise premium product.

• Dynamic Key Stroke (DKS): Assign up to four different actions to a single key, based on how far you press and release it. This is complex, but powerful for advanced macros.

Cons

• Software Complexity: The full potential of the keyboard requires getting comfortable with the Keydous software. It’s not as easy as Wootility but it gets the job done.
• Limited Feet Options: More adjustability would be welcome, especially at this price point.

Should You Buy It?

The Keydous NJ98-CP could be your end-game full size keyboard. The Hall Effect switches make it unique. It’s as good as other full sized rapid trigger/hall effect keyboards IMO.
