SIKAKEYB Castle HM66 Keyboard Review
I recently got my hands on the SIKAKEYB Castle HM66 Rapid Trigger keyboard, and I must say, it has lived up to its hype. I haven’t seen a hall effect magnetic keyboard with 0.01mm trigger range. That’s so small. But I tested it from 0.02mm.

First off, the performance of this keyboard is exceptional. The rapid trigger point operates flawlessly at 0.02mm, ensuring that every keystroke is registered without any delay. This precision is particularly noticeable in fast-paced gaming scenarios where quick and accurate input can make all the difference. Unlike many keyboards that have a dead zone where keystrokes are not recognized, the HM66 has none, making my gaming experience smoother and more responsive.
One of the major advantages of the HM66 is that it comes as a ready-to-use product. In the past, I’ve had to buy PCB kits and source additional parts myself, which was time-consuming and often frustrating. With the HM66, everything I need is included, from the keycaps to the stabilizers. The convenience of being able to use it straight out of the box is a significant plus, and at $220, I find it reasonably priced considering the time and effort it saves.
The keyboard’s customizable features are another highlight. The ability to adjust the actuation point and rapid trigger in 0.01mm increments is a game-changer. I can fine-tune the settings to match my exact preferences, ensuring that the keyboard responds just the way I want it to. This level of customization is unmatched by any other keyboard I’ve used. The stability of operation starts at 0.02mm, which is perfect for ensuring reliable performance.
Design-wise, the HM66 is sleek and minimalist. The white plastic case is simple but elegant, and the 60% layout is compact while still including arrow keys, which I find extremely useful. The key remapping via software allows me to customize the layout to my needs, and the inclusion of functions like Mod Tap and Kill Switch adds to its versatility.
The included accessories are top-notch. The PBT keycaps are thick and have a smooth, comfortable feel. They are also backlight compatible, which is great for my late-night gaming sessions. The Gateron KS-20T Jade switches are a standout feature, providing a satisfying hard bottom-out sound that adds to the overall typing experience.
Overall, the HM66 Rapid Trigger keyboard is an impressive piece of hardware that combines high performance with user-friendly features. Its precision, customization options, and ready-to-use convenience make it a fantastic choice for both gaming and typing. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality keyboard.
